"stunningly inept rewrite, throw out your old documents"
run. run far away. if you have a routine, or if you have a legacy of documents, prepare to throw them out. this program will autoformat everything, and it will do it wrong. customized macros seem to die, as well. revealing the limited codes that

"Worthless. What was Microsoft thinking?"
I am an attorney. I currently use Word 2003 and I have used every version of Word since 2.0 on a daily basis. I recently purchased Office 2007 for use on home computers by my children and to evaluate for an upgrade in my office. This will NEVER be

"Not user friendly for those with previous MS experience"
I have been an Office user for almost 10 years and loved it (not a MS hater). I wrote extensive documents with complicated formats using 2000 and 2003 and never really had a problem figuring things out, but whoever said 2007 was a good upgrade must'

"Stupid .docx format that my other computers can't read"
It sucks. These stupid docx files dropped 6 points off my rating. Also, it's kinda hard to use. I prefer my older version of MS word because at least I can use it faster. The difficulty of use dropped another 2 points. Don't waste your money.
