Move over Uggs (thank
goodness, I've had just about
enough of those) there's a new
boot taking over. Ankle
boots, from the swinging 60s
variety and beyond, are all
over the fall previews and new
arrivals lists. Patent
leather is making a big
showing in this trend as with
these Nine West booties to the
right ($99 at Zappos), but
that's not the whole story.
Variety seems to be the
cornerstone of this emerging
fall boot craze. And if you
fear all things heeled, don't
despair because flat "Beatle"
boots will be plentiful.
How to wear them: I like 'em
with skinny jeans--go for a
modern look with pop colored
denim or classic black for
tough leader-of-the-pack
allure. They also work well
with the leggings and skirt
