What can I say?
This is my first computer with vista. I have a pretty decent rig (scores 5.9), so I have not experienced any slow performance rumors. The os is visually stunning compared to xp. I bought the retail for the free upgrade to windows 7. Overall I like it

Great eye candy
....but very resource demanding. Make sure that you have lots of RAM, at least a dual core processor, and a decent video card. If you answered yes to all those afore mentioned options then this is the OS for you. As for me, I love it. XP holdout's, i

My pc worked just fine on Vista. Then this SP1 sneaked in through an automatic update. Boot up slowed, Internet Explorer crashed and I could no longer view certain video clips.I deleted the SP through System Restore but other programs crashed. Spent

window vista ultimate 64
smooth with my amd 5400 black edition. alot better than xp64. I recommended but make sure that your system is powerful enough to run it.
