"Improved windows graphics."
Over all I think it's pretty good. Most people just don't like change. The only problems I have had were caused by myself fiddling with the registry.
PROS: Looks have been updated
CONS: Memory hog.

"Avoid, avoid, avoid"
Just another way for Microsoft to squeeze money out of you. Have a brand new laptop and it works far worse than xp on my pc. The lap top has over twice the speed and memory, etc and I can be waiting over 5 minutes just for it to boot up. Shuts dow
PROS: Hmm, sound is less annoying every time you turn it on or off
CONS: Slower, moved things you want so you can't find, handles worse than Windows XP and that is saying something

Vista has improved alot with SP1 and pretty much all of its bugs have been fixed. Its a good time to buy
