Great Portable Knotting Book
This is an excellent book. It's small 100ish knots and pocket size make it extremely portable. This is in contrast to another great knotting tome such as, Clifford Ashley's "Ashley Book of Knots" which is the definitive work on the subject. Which is large and heavy and very expensive. This book...

Best Knot Book
This is an excellent book. Extremely well illustrated and very informative. Colour coding of rope strands helps immensely. Should be in every knotters library.

Handbook of Knots is Excellent
This is easily the best book I've seen on the subject, especially considering it's size. (Okay, so I only recall three or four.) I know a few knots, variations and principles that could be added, some discovered previously, some stimulated by the book. Hopefully the next edition will have more,...

Great Little Book
Even for an amateur these instructions are clearly understood. The size of the book makes it easy to carry along and practice knots in spare moments. Our son is the sailor and we hope to impress him with what we've learned the next time we go out on the SF Bay!

Very informative
This is an amazing book. The knots are illustrated very nicely and it is easy to follow. I gave it a 4 because of the binding. Its hard to follow the book when it keeps closing over on you.
