Rheem GT-199DVN Commercial Natural Gas

The Rheem GT-199DVN (Natural Gas) commercial propane tankless water heater supplies 2-3 hot water applications at a time with temperatures up to 180 degrees. Unit can be vented either through the wall or roof and can be connected in series to increase hot water flow. The GT-199DV can supply 7.4 gallons per minute of hot water at a 45 degree temperature rise. This is designed for commercial applications where water temperatures need to reach up to 180F. It requires a 4" stainless steel exhaust vent and with the direct vent is able to pull in air through an intake vent (can be PVC, aluminum flex, etc) to eliminate the combustion air requirements. This tankless water heater carries a 10 year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 3 year limited warranty on parts. The ignition is electronic and the unit comes with a 120V power cord. This model can be linked with another GT-199DV in series with the EZ-Link cable (RTG-20040) for high demand applications as the two units would operate as one with double the water flow. When 3 to 20 units are connected in series a manifold controller, cables and/or control boards are required. For installations above 3,280 ft a high altitude chip is required. Exclusive combustion monitoring device monitors the combustion process and turns off the fuel supply if incomplete or inadequate combustion is detected. Exclusive film wrap overheat limiter instantly detects any overheating in the heat exchanger and shuts down the unit if unsafe temperature is detected. Built-in electric power burner provides installation flexibility, allowing for horizontal or vertical vent terminations up to 47-1/2 feet (indoor model). Efficiency these models have been tested according to DOE test procedures, and exceed the thermal efficiency and standby loss requirements of ASHRAE Standard 90.1b-2001 (Part of the Federally mandated Energy Policy Act (EPact)).
