Not a wise buy
I've tried this phone on 2 different computers - 1 with Vista and 1 with XP. I could not get it to connect on the Vista system but did have some luck on the XP system. The main problem is that it drops connection to it's base. Most of the time it

Excellent sound quality and long battery life
I have been using Linksys CIT200 to make Skype calls for over a year now. This is an excellent device. I use it every weekend to make FREE international Skype-Skype calls and the sound quality is at par or even better than the expensive Verizon or AT

Very good phone that works nicely with Skype
The phone works great with Skype. All of your Skype contacts are displayed on the phone along with their status (online v's offline). The range is very good inside our house. The fact that it doesn't accept landline calls is not a big deal for me. Ni
PROS: easy installation, integrates with Skype, good sound quality. Good range.
CONS: is not dualmode - i.e. does not accept a landline. USB cable a bit short.

great and cost effective alternative
works very well but you need to dedicate a pc connection. no vista support i put an old xp laptop aside for the purpose, since cisco does not provide vista support for this (sold as new) product.
