In the Wrong Order
It seems that this book would be better as the first book rather than the second in the series. The Hunger gives more history on Asharti and Beatrix than The Companion. In The Companion, it shows Asharti's cruelty explicitly.

I love vamp & were romances but this was so boring. I couldn't even make myself finish it ~ unlikable characters & a story that was so slow-moving. Considering the reviews I expected it to be pretty good ~ what a disappointment.
