Black and Cole

First of all, I have to say I was disappointed with the writing style of Kenyon. I'm a fan of hers, but this story read like a script for a cheap porn film. And I'm not talking about the sex. The characters themselves were cheap as was the dialogue. Really bad dialogue too. Moving on,...

Playing Easy to Get

I am giving the this trilogy a 3 star rating overall. The individual stories are uneven in their quality. The first story "Turn up the Heat" by Sherrilyn Kenyon is the weakest of the 3 novellas. The relationship between the 2 main characters was ill-defined. It might have been a better story if...

4 stars for the last story

The first story is so-so nothing to wag a tale at. Its about a girl who works at Wally World and just got dumped. She's your all American pie type of blonde hair, blue eyed cutie. The hero is a x-mobster who has a bounty on his head. The two meet up on a island where she is a the winner of a...

Cole's story outshines the rest in this anthology!

Playing Easy to Get contains stories in it by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jaid Black, and Kresley Cole. Hands down, Kresley Cole's story is the best. It far outshines the other two in this anthology. It is very well written and is one that you won't want to put down.Kenyon's story, Turn Up the Heat,...

Fun!

This anthology is about alpha males. It's hot and sexy, to say the least. I don't think there was one story I didn't thorougly enjoy. What I liked most was the fact that it was quick and easy to read and didn't bog the reader down with minute details that aren't relevant at all. A good, fun read...

beginnings

As an avid Kresly Cole fan, I was so excited to finally read Nick & Myst's story. Although it was quite a bit shorter than her usual stories, it still packed quite the punch. There were also a few things revealed that had not been before as I had read the other books first. The only thing I could...

Loved it!!!

I'm a Kresley Cole fan so I initially bought the book for her short story, but the other two were good as well. It's like getting 3 for 1!!! I read the whole thing in about two days!

Playing Easy To Get

I enjoyed Kresley Cole's story in this book, it was a story I wanted to read. The other two authors are fine but I didn't feel compelled to read those since their other work was more interesting to me. It was worth it for Cole's story.

Kresley Cole's story is worth the whole book

I don't know how to rate this. I purchased this book simply so I could read the Kresley Cole story. Nikolai and Myst's story is referred to throughout the entire Immortals After Dark series, so I feel it is important to read this story prior to beginning that series. It's an excellent story,...
