A Girl's Guide to Vampires

Joy Randall's Top 5 Tips for Vampire Hunters: 1. Location, location, location. Remember, if you wouldn't be there, neither would a bloodsucker. 2. Trust your eyes. You know the handsome, annoyingly arrogant, self-assured man in the shadows with long hair and a cleft in his chin? He's your vampire. 3. No matter how tempting it might be, do not "accidentally" acquire a paper cut and suggest YOUR VAMPIRE kiss your finger to make it better. 4. From here on out, play it cool. Don't offer to accompany your prince of the night on the talk show circuit and whatever you do, don't offer him your heart. 5. And most of all, remember?being a vampire is nothing to laugh about.

Hysterical

I am relieved that I did not let the silly title dissuade me from reading this book. I just finished MaCallister's Aisling Dragon Series and thoroughly enjoyed it so I thought that I would try one of her vampire books.I cannot wait to read more of her vampire genre ~ especially if they end up...

The inside of the book should be a nice as the cover

Very disappointing. Joy & Roxy give American women a bad name - I guess Katie MacAlister does not think very highly of us American ladies. Would not recommendthis book.

Hmmm...

I was actually quite disappointed in this book. I absolutely adore Katie's other writing, but have been avoiding the vampire series because I find that most vampire books I've picked up feel like they were written by a thirteen year old; but, I figured what the heck, I love Katie, maybe I'm...

I really enjoyed this one!

I was sorta of shocked at all the negative reviews I was reading for this book - WOW - but I guess everyone has their OWN opinion on what they like and dislike. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It did not bother me one bit that she did not hook up with any vampire (Hence...

Really 2.5

For some reason I just didn't laugh at the jokes. I wanted funny, I LOVE funny and I could see that this book was supposed to be funny... yet I didn't laugh. Very frustrating.Speaking of frustrating, I didn't really know which guy I was pulling for! I can't really say much else on that point...

Vampires? They don't exist.

I loved Katie's dragon series so I decided I'll try this and see how she does with vampires. I loved the title thinking that maybe it might be about a vampire falling in love with a human. Boy, was I wrong. It was about two girls going to some place in europe and consulted their friend who was a...

Readable, barely

I guess I'm not into chick-lit if that is what you consider this book. I couldn't get over how ditzy the main characters in this book were. I skipped over almost all of the conversation between the girls in this story, just so I could get to the actual plot, which was tolerable, but not great....

Seriously, another first person book

I don't know how I get suckered into these books. I love the paranormal romances, but I guess I don't do enough research. For people like me, I leave this non-review because I didn't read the book... Because it is written in the first person perspective.

2 stars because of the intriguing Christian

First, I have to say that I enjoy Katie MacAlister's other works, particularly Improper English. I think she's a great author, but this was one book that I just didn't like. The only reason why I kept reading was because I wanted to find out Christian Dante's fate...and that will be the reason...
