Big waste of money
These two-way radios are a waste of money. The battery life is too short to get much use out of them. They're going to Goodwill and I'm shopping for something better quality. I can't believe Uniden put their name on such a bad product.

Should NOt falsely advertise a range that is so impossible
Very nice toys to use around the home but certainly no where near ever reaching the suppossedly falsely advertized range of 15 miles, in fact it doesnt even do 15 blocks.

Resists shock
i tripped over a side walk and slammed them down, got up tested it and it still went many miles. Today, i dropped them off my counter and they still work!

Really poor battery life!
I use these radios daily and have no problem with them whatsoever except that the batteries die after five hours or so. I need them for work and can never get through a shift with the rechargeables. They work great with regular batteries though.

The batteries take 12-16 hours to charge, and drain out in less than an hour. I am sorry I bought these, what a joke!
