Biased Opinion
The author makes an attempt to present the facts of the case but what becomes quite clear is that he supports the woman who brutally murdered her sleeping children. It is often this way when a crime is too horrid to believe, but the author's weakness takes the credibility from this account.He...

Not worth the dollar I paid at the used book store
What a one sided story and a bunch of baloney. I hope this woman gets a new trial because she deserves it with people like this writing one sided bad fiction.

Hush Little Babies
A very good written book. Hard to read the poor children. But It was very interesting on how Darlie would change her story whenever she talked. I liked it on how they went through the trial and how the attorneys worked.

Correct killer, wrong reason
I liked this book because it presents the basic facts of the case, as well as the positions of the State and the defendant, Darlie Routier. I do not know if I would agree with reviews that say Don Davis seemed to conclude in the end that Darlie was innocent. Rather, I think Davis was trying to...

still unsure
I tend to be the type to think everyone accused is guilty and while I do think Darlie probably is, this book really pointed out the scary inconsistencies of the States case against her. It was troubling that the author began by seemingly supporting that she was guilty but by the last 1/3, he...

Yet another
Story written about the infamous Darlie Routier who was tried and convicted for the murder of her young son. Although both boys were murdered the state of Texas only tried her for one. She was found to be guilty and sentenced to death. There have been several books wrote about the case, some...

aA LOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS
THIS BOOK WAS HARD TO GET THROUGH. AT THE END, I WAS STILL WONDERING IF SHE KILLED HER CHILDREN OR NOT. THE LAST 10 OR SO PAGES WERE THE BEST OF THE WHOLE BOOK. I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT HER HUSBAND DID NOT HERE THE CHILDREN SCREAM-SEEMS FAR-FETCHED TO ME.

Not worth your money...
Reading the summary on the back of the book, one would think that the author was going to present the case AGAINST Darlie....instead, it seems as though the author got a little too friendly with Darlie's family. The acknowledgements page in the beginning of the book is pretty much a good indicator...
