It can reach a maximum working height of 57.5 ( 146 cm ), and folds up to 21 ( 53.5 cm ). Ideal for use with cameras up to SLR size with medium pro zoom lens attached. With less features than the 190XB or 190XBPRO and a simpler design, this model is a 0.5 lb lighter, and a more economical choice. Should have spent a little more.

Wish I would have paid more attention and seen that it has screw extenders instead of the clip kind. Takes to long to set up. Spend an extra 50 bucks and save yourself alot of time.

GREAT TRIPOD!!

I can't recommend this tripod enough. I shoot with a CANON REBEL XT and use a 300mm lens...this is a very sturdy tripod, and also extremely versitile.
THe legs can be adjusted to so many angles, and it sits nice and tight.
