Much of Cash's music was great so in that respect this is a good compilation. It's just hard to go too wrong even if you just picked random songs and threw them on a couple of CDs.

Several songs I was not familiar with...Boy Named Sue is censored....a couple of his more famous songs included but I will get The Essential Johnny Cash for the other songs I missed out on with this CD.

I like this CD because it is Willie and it follows the movie as well. If you have not seen the movie, watch it. If you don't have the CD, buy it! You will not be disappointed.

This is a great soundtrack... even the pieces made just for the movie aren't so cinematic that you can't listen to them and enjoy them.

THE JOHNNY CASH CHILDREN'S ALBUM is not very good as being a children's album. It doesn't have that kiddie sound that young kids recognize as being kid's music. Maybe it is okay for kids around 8 years old, but not around 3 years old.
