Not as bad as many say
It's a three star album on the strength of "In My Darkest Hour" alone... and "Mary Jane", "Into the Lungs of Hell"/"Set the World Afire" aren't half bad, either. "Liar" and "Hook in Mouth" can be okay, if a bit juvenile... but "502" has to be one...

this cd has some great songs on it all around a very good cd 5/8 songs in my favorite zone is pretty good.I thought the song writing improved a bit the lryics were definitly venomious and the songs were pretty damn heavy but this was the begining...

Of all the early Megadeth records this has got the be the most underrated one! It really looks like people give this album a bad rep because of the cover for "Anarchy in the UK" - I admit it wasn't all that great, but that one song doesn't kill...

A Great Re-Master Candidate
I'm not a huge fan of the Megadeth remasters. I prefer the sound of the originals, since they're the true sonic snapshots of whatever Dave and Co. sounded like at the time.
