1920x1080 makes a difference. No down coverting of signals anything in it is a great picture. Great color brightness controls, HDMI Input x4 is a great feature. Used with the SS2000 antenna 50 miles out and a great picture off air.

The television has a great picture but the set lasted 91 days. Then it took forever to get asssitance from Toshiba to back their warranty. We got the run around for weeks. I will not buy another Toshiba product.
