Well... it's a telescope... I got one of these for my birthday in 2000, and have used it on and off. I only go out and use it (if you'll pardon the pun) once in a blue moon. Not a good choice This is not the way to get started in astronomy. The red flag is the ridiculously high advertised magnification of "600x." Do you know what you will see at 600x in this scope? Nothing but a dim blur. Note that the objective... read full review | report as inappropriate
