The toy is not working. Only the green on/off light is on, occasional beep, totally silent otherwise, no display. I changed the batteries to no effect.Now I need to return it. Very disappointed. Will see how amazon customer service...

This Learning Resource phone did in fact help my daughter learn our telephone number (helped by a incentive of a trip for ice cream when she did it)----and quite satisfactorily allowed a personalized recording of our voices to be waiting...
