This Lullaby
When it comes to relationships, Remy doesn?t mess around. After all, she?s learned all there is to know from her mother, who?s currently working on husband number five. But there?s something about Dexter that seems to defy all of Remy?s rules. He certainly doesn?t seem like Mr. Right. For some reason, however, Remy just can?t seem to shake him. Could it be that Remy?s starting to understand what those love songs are all about? From acclaimed author Sarah Dessen, this is a captivating novel about a tough-as-nails girl and the unexpectedly charming boy who?s determined to soften her up. more

Loved it!!
I personally love all of Sarah Dessen's novels and I think she is just a brilliant author. It's one of those books that all teenage girls can relate to, they're so real. It does an amazing job at keeping the reader's attention, with her original tale, fresh character's, and if you're a Dessen...

Not for a pre-teen
I've read another Sarah Dessen book before, recently. It wasn't have bad, so I thought I'd check out this book. Now, when I buy a book I usually pass it on to someone. Sometimes I will have my daughter read it or pass it on to my coworkers. My daughter is a mature 12 year old, but sheltered....

Funny, deep, and realistic
I've read This Lullaby nearly three times now and it's never gotten old. Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors and this has got to be my favorite book of hers. This Lullaby centers around Remy Starr, newly graduated student on her way to Stanford. It is set during the summer, which Remy...

This Lullaby
While I enjoyed the lightness of this read, I just can't love this book. I would definitely recommend it as a happy read and to someone who likes a love story. I love a good love story, but this one didn't catch my interest. Don't get me wrong at the end of the book I still got the "Oh, that's a...

This is somewhat pleasant, but easily forgotten.
I first decided to read this book for the fact that I have the same problem as Remy. I stone my heart, not the way she did hers, though. I cherished some insights Dessen made, but it just didn't go through. I knew it was important (obviously), but it couldn't hit me. Many times I wanted to slap...

A Fabulous, Realistic Book
This is one of my favorite books. There are many reasons why I think this, but the main reason is because it's realistic. First of all the characters are realistic, and not fake. The main character, Remy, isn't perfect and doesn't have a perfect life. She has flaws (just like a real person)...

Awesome book, Not my favorite
I have read almost every Sarah Desson book and I just finished This Lulliby last night. It was not my favorite, but I did love the character Remy.Sarah Desson is known, at least to me, of her witty metaphors and almost poetic writing. She also supplies every book with wonderful, well thought out...

This Lullaby was good.
Ok, im using my dad's account to write this, but w/e.I don't really like most of Sarah Dessen's books. They are well written, but i can not stand the main characters. They are always wimpy pushovers who won't speak up for themselves. It drives me insane. However, Remy is a great character. Hard as...

an Okay book, not the best
I'm a big fan of Sarah Dessen, but this book was a bit of a dissapointment. I just couldn't get into the characters. Don't get me wrong, they were fully fleshed out and 3-dimensional characters. Ms. Dessen has the unique talent of always creating well-rounded, believable characters. I just...
