I have to say that I liked this book as much as I liked the last one. It was well written with good character development.With that being said, it broke my heart. Seeing Dmitri as a red eyed bad guy did me in. He was cold and calculating...

Even though the end of shadow kiss makes you feel hurt and mad Blood Promise makes up for it. I loved it and though there is a big cliffhanger you get to meet alot of new people and discover a suprise!

I've got to say....This is a phenomenal addition to this great series...I only hope we have the next book out extremely soon, otherwise, both myself and my 14 year old daughter are going to go crazy. If you've not read this series...

I waited some time for the next book in the series and it was certainly worth the wait. Great read. I do agree with some others that there was a bit too much recap, though.
