scream has those quick jumping parts you now when you don't expect it some one pops in other than that its more of a comady than horror but i think the twisting of the plot and humor pull this all into a movie you can sit down and watch...

This movie is not scary at all. Scream shouldn't even be labeled as "Horror". (Some real horror movies are The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2-Disc Ultimate Edition) , The Shining (Two-Disc Special Edition) and Friday the 13th.)
