Excellent

My mom got her video within 12 days of ordering, so not as fast as from other sellers I've used, but still fast enough! She said the video was great - thank you!

Classic Connery

Several years past his last Eon James Bond film finds Sean Connery hitting his stride. This was one of several truly memorable period pieces in that year or two (which included THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING and THE WIND AND THE LION). Great performances by Connery, Audrey Hepburn, Robert Shaw and...

Robin & Marian

This is an interesting interpretation of the old fable. It starts slow but picks up after Robin and Little John return to England. Sean Connery gives a fine performance as would be expected. Robert Shaw's interpretation as the Sheriff is wonderful. Not your ordinary Robin Hood story, but well...

I was thrilled to receive in perfect condition, the great classic with Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn. The packaging indicates it was digitally remastered. I'm sure it was, but toward the last ten minutes there appears to be some defective footage that pulsates visually during the night scenes...

An ending worth sticking around for

This movie was a bit slow and tedious at times. How ever I am such a huge fan of Sean Connery and Audry Hepburn, that I could not turn it off. I kept wondering what would happen next. I was waiting for something worthy of these two actors to happen. Then It happened. (A sort of spoiler...

AGE WITH DIGNITY.

this is good but "older" and may be hard at first to "get." a good entry point for this movie would be THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY (james garner, julie andrews, paddy chayefsky).same screenwriter as THE LION IN WINTER (itself outstanding).

Robin and Sean

Robin and Sean are an unbeatable combination. At last a down-to-earth view of the mature Robin Hood, devoid of Hollywood's frilles and glitz.Audrey Hepburn and Robert Shaw's excellent characters add further to a movie and a tale very well told. Most recommentable.A Norwegian film buff.
