A piece of history
Bought this for my Dad for the holidays, but after really spending some time with the album, think I need to own it for myself. The CD packaging is great, and shipping was unbelievably fast!

Great Diversified Material
Wonderful disk that opens with the jet scream of "Back In the USSR", with very few clunkers. I still remember as a child getting this for Christmas, with the original poster and four photos of the Beatles. I believe that most of the two disks' material still survives the test, even 40 years...

This is the Beatles best album that is not a "best of" compilation.It is intensely human scaled in execution yet utterly transcendent in terms of the unguarded imaginative leaps they take.it's humanity in cinema-scope and it's fookin' brill!

The best album ever by anyone, including the Beatles.
This album is perfect, and it's imperfection makes it that way. If you could only own one album, this is it. It has it all. It's influence is incalculable. Sell everything you own, and just listen to this. Really.

Jet and Hives anyone?
When I think of talented music, I think of Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, Atreyu, Good Chartlotte, Hanson, Britney Spears, and The New Kids on the block.The Beatles had no talent, they didn't even have MTV airplay.Avoid this trash, turn on MTV, and listen to real music people. Not 60s junk.
