PROS: Graphics are great the game is a bit different to the first one but along the same lines. Like Rome and medieval total war it is very addictive. the bonus of South America is a great addition to the game. The constant treaties and alliances trade and war
CONS: I don't like the merchant traders who seem a bit pointless and possibly a rushed addition.

PROS: its a historical medieval game, good graphics and great giant battles and ok plot line
CONS: runs slow and lags on many computers that are not updated that well or is older than 2004, very much like stronghold 2 and civilization III and rome total war

Creative Assembly pretty much rewrote the book on historical war games with the release of Shogun Total War some seven years ago, moving away from cheesy RTS ideas and coming up with a game that was much closer to traditional table top war games....

Its a great game to learn different strategies on defeating your enemy. Plus the gameplay is awsome with the soldiers looking very different from each other. But you need to have a top of line PC to take in the great sounds and graphics.

PROS: Good graphics. Superb gameplay. Decent multiplayer appeal. Very atmospheric sound. Enough attention to detail.
CONS: If you have played any of the Total War series, you will notice that there are no real changes, apart from minor graphical tweaks and a limited number of gameplay enhancements.
