This is a very good enty level amp. It can be a bit bright but the gain can be adjusted to minimize the excess brightness. It doesn't run too hot like other amps I've had and it has a very clean and basic look on the front panel. All in all, I'm h

Great Sound, but very basic features
I purchased this amp to replace a 35W Integrated Amp after adding a subwoofer to my outdoor speakers. It has a lot of clarity and compliments my Onkyo receiver well as a multi-zone, or surround back amplifier. Audio out jacks allow you to 'daisy-ch

Poor value and bad performance
I bought two of these to bi-amp some very large speakers of the sort used by EMI to master their disks; I have several sets of the speakers in several rooms. One of the Onkyo amps died in a month and Crutchfield instantly replaced it. These do not so

Best for the Dollar
This Power amp is what it is...a Power Amp. Not to be confused with an Intergrated amplifier. You must have a pre-amp or a mixer (for DJ's). I used to use a Crown Niko and Peavey for DJing. These might not be household names to non 'DJers', but...

Be sure you have pre-amp output terminals on your receiver
I could not hook it up because you need pre-amp out connections on your receiver.

good biamp
I use this amp along with my onkyo 801 to biamp my front Infinity Alpha 50's. It made a huge differnce in the maximum volume out put and the clarity in movies. I would recomend this amp to anyone who wants to biamp their good towers.

This amplifier loses it's mind occasionally. I use it as a front channel amplifier in a Dolby Digital 5.1 system. It has an LED on the front panel that is red when there is no audio being input, and orange when audio is there and it is outputing...
CONS: Loses it's mind sometimes.

the onkyo m282 provides awasome power for loud speakers and even standard 8ohm speskers. I am a moble DJ and they all told me to use a diffrent amp. well I proved them wrong this amp has great performance I can run it all day long and it won't get...
