Maybe a little too serious?
This is a solid debut album for TI. Most tracks are listenable, but only a couple are true classics. TI's flow on this album is much more rapid fire - and with this albums lackluster sales, he switched up to his slower draaawl flow - which has got him the big sales. The best track - esp if you...

The Seriousness Is There (Rating: 7 out of 10- -3.5 stars)
I read some reviews calling it the best from the south, and I beg to differ. T.I.'s debut album "I'm Serious" is really an above average debut album from him, especially when there were other albums that came out '01 that blew this out of the water. I find his flow to be no different than any...

The best.
I'm serious is the best T.I. CD yet. His lyrics, the beats, everything is on point. I love the song by him and Beenie man. He shows his true talent and also is creative ability. I would recommend this CD to anyone that is a T.I. fan or anyone who likes rap and is tired of the same old nursery...

Good...But classic?
Don't get me wrong, this is an alright CD. But that's it. Alright. Huge T.I. fans will enjoy it, but in all honesty, on this overlooked debut, T.I. was still in his formative years. He does his thing but this CD is not a classic by any stretch of the imagination. It has it's highs & lows....

I'm Serious
I'm Serious too, go buy this cd. T.I.'s debut album is one of the best rap albums I have heard. T.I. is a very underated rapper, and in my opinion, T.I. runs the South when it comes to rap alonfside with Luda and Outkast. Songs like "I'm Serious", "Chooz U", "Still Ain't Forgave Myself" and my...

Classic! This is Southern Hip Hop's Best!
This is without a doubt the best debut album from any solo Southern Artist! Name another!?!?! He is witty and deep and the beats are not crunk or senseless. This is a album I thought in 2001 should've blown up. i worked at this label at this time and begged them to blow this up and nothing...
