Another Great Resource
I own the whole series. So I obviously had to buy this one when my child became a toddler. This info is easy to find through out the book. I like how it tells me what to expect each month from my child. The only piece I don't like, which is an issue on all them, is how they mark the months....

Not For All Mothers!
I am absolutely disappointed in this author and this book! I have purchased and read "What to expect when you are expecting" as well as "What to expect the first year." But this time around I am appalled by the authors attempt to portray her own personal opinion and agenda as factual...

another step down in the "What to expect seires"
"What to expect when you are expecting" was a good source of information and I could tolerate the writing style. "What to expect the first year" was less useful and I could just barely tolerate the writing. "What to expect the toddler years" I find impossible to read. I can summarize the book as...

Some good information but it's overwhemled by preachiness and outdated info
If you've read the other reviews you can see a lot of people ticked off about the way this book approaches breastfeeding past the age of one. Now, I don't care what you do as a parent and don't judge you for your choices, but to someone that is either thinking about extended nursing or actively...

Disappointing
I was very disappointed with the advice in this book and found myself disagreeing with some of it. Incredulously, the author DIScourages breastfeeding beyond 12 months of age! I guess she must not be aware of all the evidence that points to breastmilk being beneficial up to 2 years+. A lot of...

Outdated information on breastfeeding
This is a huge book which probably has lots of helpful information on raising toddlers, but I couldn't get past the first chapter and so will never know. Within the first chapter of the book, the authors have presented misleading and inaccurate information on breastfeeding beyond one year of...

MOM IS HAPPY
Purchased for my step-daughter. She has other books from the series and just loves them. Waited many months for the book to come out due to delays but it was worth while. Recommended.
