Society: The basics is a very interesting textbook, full of up-to-date pictures, graphs, and demographics dealing with the subject material. Personally, I hate reading textbooks, but this book is one that can be read and understood. I don't have to re-read pages at all to comprehend...

I didn't get to use this book as the college changed the requirment. I did briefly look at it before returning it and it appeared to cover a lot of territory and be very detailed about society. Worth a look.
