See No Evil (Widescreen Edition)

From: $5.09

Former porn director Gregory Dark's contemporary B-movie gorefest has all the necessary trappings to leave genre fans satisfied and others slightly nauseous. The scene is set when a group of juvenile delinquents arrive at a roach-infested ruin of a hotel where they have agreed to work in exchange for lighter sentences. They are led by a cop who lost his hand four years ago in a struggle with a brutal serial killer whom he killed with a bullet to the head--or so he thought. Now the very same hulking monster played by WWE wrestler Kane haunts the halls of the dilapidated hotel and with no further adieu begins picking off the teenagers one by one. He metes out his own brand of justice: having been taught as a child by his punishingly Christian mother that the eyes--the windows to the soul--must be cleaned to please God he gouges out the eyes of each of his victims. The camera does not shy away from this or any other terifically squirm-inducing action while the hyperkinetic editing maintains a head-spinning p...

At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.

This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

From: Amazon Posted: Sep 08, 2008 Type: User Review Worth a rental, though horror fans make want a place for it on their shelves

Pretty much by-the-numbers slasher flick gets a few extra points for high production values and competent film making. A bunch of good looking teens, incarcerated for various offenses, get time shaved off their sentences by helping to clean up an...

From: Amazon Posted: Jun 11, 2008 Type: User Review See No Evil will scare you out of your mind!

See no evil is a fast pace horror film starring Kane a.k.a. Glenn Jacobs. The movie is quite grapic so anyone who is disturbed by blood should probably not watch this. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of blood and gore and people who...

From: Amazon Posted: May 27, 2008 Type: User Review KANE MAKE NO SENSE! COMPLETE GARBAGE!

One of the stupidest horror films I have ever seen. The plot is so contrived and the setting so unbelievable that you can not even begin to care what happens in this ridiculous and far inferior retread of 'Texas Chain Saw Massacre'.

From: Amazon Posted: Apr 27, 2008 Type: User Review WWE Makes a Slasher Film

"See No Evil" is a slasher film starring WWE superstar Kane as the psycho killer. There is nothing original here to set this film apart from the average slasher film. You have the questionable premise of convicts chosen to spend three days...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 28, 2008 Type: User Review A Welcome Horror Surprise

It seems that as soon as the letters WWE come up on the screen, too many people discredit a movie. I wish they would do the same when watching studio Hollywood crap. Oh no, they buy right into that schlock and ask for more. They have no clue....

Where to even begin. I watched this last night... I actually watched it. Even though I had a hunch that I wouldn't like it. I LOVE horror movies and slasher films, however I have watched disapointment after disapointment over the last several...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 09, 2008 Type: User Review Better than You Might Expect

If you look past the fact that this is a WWE-produced film and stars a professional wrestler, you'll discover an enjoyable, underrated horror flick. I expected this movie to be lame for the aforementioned reasons, but after reading some good...

From: Amazon Posted: Feb 24, 2008 Type: User Review Not too bad

You don't need another synopsis, so I won't give you one. However, I will say, if you're looking for a spooky, solid, and fun style slasher, this film is for you. The budget was moderate, the cinematography was fair, and the acting wasn't half...
