"Funny game with a lot of opportunities"

This game is really fun to play for some days or weeks. You can discover different things and gain medals and trophies. Unfortunately, once the city runs good, there is only one thing to do: waiting. And that is really boring.

The worst of the SimCities

The program crashes every time I try to load a saved game. My PC runs the Sims 2 without any problems so it isn't a hardware issue. This game does not deserve the name SimCity, it does not play like a SimCity. I've gone back to older versions, and am having much more fun with them than SimCity...

I had fun, but regret buying Sim City Societies at full price

I wish I would have waited until now to buy Sim City Societies. $10 would be a better price for the amount of fun it offers. I bought it at the full retail price a year ago, had a good time with it for a couple of days but I haven't really played it since. I liked the aspects of the different...

Not for me, looks expansive though

I'm not a sim fan, but I thought I would give this a try. FYI if it detects CD emulation software it won't run (yeah, just detecting it, not even running the game from emulation). If your looking for creative games with no point, this maybe for you.

Fun times

It's a good little game and has lots of replay value. It arrived in good shape, worked great, and I was creating cities in no time at all. It gets a little repetitive after a while, and I lost interest pretty quickly.

Watered down and pointless

This is a very disappointing game - it is extremely watered down compared to the previous games in the franchise and becomes pointless after a few hours.

A huge disappointment ... the era of fun sim games is over

I ordered Sim City Societies, in advance, about year ago for $49. I had been looking forward to a new version of Sim City for a long time because I was a fan of the Sim City Classic and Sim City 2000.The installation was a pain. When I finally got it working, I was disappointed because this...

Sim Societies Review

I think this is easier than Sim City 4, but too easy that some of the excitement disappeared. It is also less simulative of real city processes as Sim City 4.They should just have refined Sim City 4 by including export economies, import and export, banking, stock market, etc... as sort of a...

"Wish I could give it a ZERO!"

I installed SimCity Societies with the hope of hours of enjoyment. My system qualified to run the program based on the wrapper. The installation went smoothly, I rebooted and launched the software - NADA. After an hour of searching Electronic Art'

TERRIBLE!

Ever since I downloaded this game, my system has been falling apart. The game was never much fun anyway, since it kept crashing. I truly regret purchasing this game.
