PROS: Excel has more rows. That's about all I can tell. I'm sure there are many more Pros, but the Cons waaay overshadow the Pros.
CONS: Many tasks take more clicks or more keyboard commands than before. You can no longer remove unused items from the toolbar (ribbon) to replace them with your preferred items.

Once you find all the tools you are looking for (which may take some time) in the new Toolbar setup Word 2007 is fun and will make your documents a lot more professional.
