A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future
The paperback edition of Daniel H. Pink's groundbreaking book, A Whole New Mind. Described by reviewers as "an audacious and powerful work," "a profound read," "right on the money," and "a miracle," the book reveals the six abilities individuals must master in an outsourced and automated world. Several publications named A Whole New Mind one of the best business books of 2005. It is now being translated into 12 languages -- and will appear across Europe and Asia in 2006. For this updated and expanded edition, Pink has added dozens of new tools, tips, and exercises to help individuals and organizations sharpen their right-brain capacities. Find out why Thomas L. Friedman, author of the mega-bestseller The World is Flat, calls A Whole New Mind his "favorite business book."

- He's trying really hard
I haven't read the entire book yet, but so far, the author seems intent on convincing everyone that he is a right brain thinker by forcing analogies and focusing more on creative fluff than actual content. The first 20 pages people...

- The third world in the conceptual age
Right-brain jobs, in addition to left-brain jobs, can also be outsourced from the first world to the third world, especially to Latin America and perhaps Africa, because of a lower labor cost and perhaps better quality in selected cases....

- Creativity vs Logic
I am logical. No, I am creative. No, I am logical. No, I am creative. Do you ever feel like you are pulled between these two sides of your brain? Some days, you feel a little more logical - spreadsheets and word docs make you happy,...

- In three words? Awful. Awful. Awful.
The central premise of this book is that people with slightly more right-brain skills will dominate the work force in the 21st century... or at least be much more important than the past 20 years. I bought this book because that is a...
