PROS: It is light on resources and fast. Not many pop-ups. It's updated frequently. Clean and simple interface
CONS: Hmm..can't think of any rightw. It does its job and stays out of my way. I amt too concerned with the highly technical stuff.

PROS: Liked the speed of the product.
CONS: Causes frequent system crashes (blue screen) in my Vista system. Tech support couldn't come up with a solution after weeks of back and forth.

Would consider getting something else. It takes about 5 seconds to delete each "event" and, on average, the program detects around 30 events every time I scan my pc. My subscription with Trend Micro-PC is expiring soon and I'm not going to renew.

PROS: I've been using Trend-Micro PC for the last two years and, overall, I have not had any major problems with internet security.
CONS: I'mt sure if I'm missing something but you have to manually delete every hazardous "event" (eg, spyware or cookies) that the program detects.

PROS: NIS 2004 has an impressive feature set. It caught over 97% of my incoming spam without any training. It identified worms and unauthorized port access in a coherent way.
CONS: There is zero pre-paid support even for first-use issues on Symantec's newest flagship product. So after the initial $108, expect to pay more to get it working. Its web site even encourages you to make XP registry entries without anyone guiding you--YIKES
