Must have for TiVo people who want to keep their shows
I bought this mainly to record and edit TiVo shows but it contains other very useful tools as well. I especially like the feature that allows you to insert a damaged/scratched CD/DVD and it will attempted to recover the data. It works great. I have a CD of backed-up family pictures (they have...

Roxio Toast 9 Titanium
This product does many things and I believe it does them well but it is not a smooth fit with Apple's Aperture and this was why I bought it .I can drag files from Aperture but not whole Project/Events.I resort to my WD Hardrive and send them to Toast from there were it works very well.

TOAST 9 FOR MAC
Great product that supports audio and video for MAC. A must for all who utilize audio, video recording and print their own CD/DVD Labels. Works without problems and is very easy to use. Vast improvement from Toast 7 and 8 versions.

Disappointed
I had high hopes for this product to be able to transfer my collection of LP vinyls to CDs. I tried to use it years ago on my PC but gave it up for obvious (Windows) reasons. Finally on a Mac (Powerbook G4) I thought it would be a breeze. It has been anything but; starting with very poor...

YOU CANNOT RETURN DEFECTIVE ROXIO PRODUCTS
I purchased MyDVD 9 from Roxio and it failed to work properly. When I consulted their technical support the suggestions they made were based on Windows Vista (it took them over a week to get back to me). The only problem is that my OS is Windows XP which I spelled out very clearly in my initial...

At last, streaming and burning
Hooking up the Mac or PC to a tv is not so easy. I involves some interim connectors and even some paid services. I don't want to pay extra for streaming so this is the solution. I go from tivo to Mac/pc, then device or disc. The Windows version though doesn't have streaming. Good choice when...

Essential for Mac media
All the options for making disks put this ahead of the pack. I used to settle for plain disk burning software not being aware of other options. Now I can compress files and use a minimum of disks. I can keep the quality high too. Besides saving files I've made the video self running on the...

comprehensive feature set in a solid package
This is a nice update to version 5 that I had been using. I found it very useful at allowing me to access and convert my TiVo content. It does not compress as well as some other software but has good video quality and is no slower then other products. If you only got Toast it would be a good...

Don't Waste Your Money, Your Burnable Media, or Your Time
Toast, while offering a number of potentially useful features, simply does not play nice with the internal superdrives most Macs come with. From the very start, Toast would not burn any DVD without generating errors resulting in failed sessions. These are not limited to any one category,...
