"Used to be a good product"

Lousy attitude. When this was the house generic AV of Staples, it worked fine. Since then, the service has gone down as fast as the price has gone up. I emailed them and got an automated response telling me to use login info I already had. They tell

I uses it because it works, not for their support. Plus they have three licenses included, exactly what I need. It is a boot hog.

Would be perfect but for one problem...

...and it's an annoyingly persistent problem. It's the automatic updates. They're supposed to run when my system is idle, but for some reason Panda interprets the remote interface I use for work as "idle." The updates take up so much of my CPU that I cannot remain logged onto my work station...
