Underground Bases and Tunnels: What Is the Government Trying to Hide? (Alternative Science)
Go behind the scenes into little-known corners of the public record and discover how corporate America has worked hand-in-glove with the Pentagon for decades -- dreaming about, planning, and actually constructing secret underground bases. And newly-uncovered information indicates that the strangeness continues with bizarre, high-tech gadgets like portable, hand-held surgical lasers and injectable electronic IDs as small as a grain of rice! more

weak
weak; provides evidence of govt's interest in underground bases & construction techniques. Unfortunately, he provides little to no evidence that any of these plans were ever put into effect. He does provide a fair number of references to support his assertions of govt interest though.

Great book, but don't expect UFO material.
I'm guessing most people who don't like this book were expecting something different. This book has lots of good info, all of it is very well researched and he backs up all of his sources. Just don't expect extreme Dulce wars type material...

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! This crackerjack box of a book holds no prize-
Credibility is EVERYTHING here. Who is this guy? Ph.D. in what? From where? Out of body experiences ? Not a whisper anywhere that I can find about his alleged scholarly credentials.. I've seen better writing in a 6th grade newpaper. A lot of weakly supported conjecture. If the govt really...

Interesting, Quick Read, Few Faults
Sauder collects basically all the publically available info re: Underground bases and tunnels. It's outdated, but his second tome likely covers more up to date info. The research itself likely took a lot of time, and it is a very quick read. His writing style is simple and understandable, and he...

Sauder effectively wraps the truth in fantasy
This book tops out at 130 written pages (excluding index and footnotes). Of those 130 pages, 50 consist entirely of schematics and photographs obtained from publicly accessible sources. That means Sauder wrote approximately 80 pages for this book. I won't comment on the research aspect of this...

Useless crap
Everything that's in this poorly researched and written book is also on his website. Save your money and just go to his website if you are absolutely dying to know this stuff. Also, if you want to hear how much of a scam artist this guy is listen to one of his performances on Coast to Coast....

Prosaic ammunition for alien invasion & conspiracy theorists
Several reviewers have complained that this book isn't interesting enough or that it is deceptive in its marketing. In fact, Dr. Sauder's goal here is to demonstrate a few very prosaic facts: that the technology necessary to build underground bases and tunnels is currently available; that the...

Another piece to the jigsaw puzzle
The material in this book corroborates some of the stories I've heard in various UFO books about underground noises, lights, and craft coming out of the ground. The author sticks mostly to the facts, and he usually has pictures and documents to back up what he's saying. Overall it doesn't...

The Best and Only Book on Underground Bases, etc.
Sauder's book is the best and, as far as I know, only book on the rather important subject of high-tech, super-expensive bases, with their connecting tunnel systems. Sauder's specialty is researching and obtaining U.S. Government documents. What he found out under the subject of underground...

The Truth is Out There . . .
. . . unfortunately, it's hard to find in this book. The author crams 50 pages of well documented fact into 130 pages, with frequent and meaningless caveats. Save your money, skip this book.
