Fabulous movie -
Did you ever notice that Robert Preston never walks in this movie - he bounces and dances through every scene -eeee Gods! Love this movie. Dancing is fabulous, costumes are beautiful. Excellent time

Music Man DVD
The product came on time and in great condition. I was able to use it right away! As far as musicals go, this is a classic! I would reccommend purchasing it if you are feeling hesitant!

Poor DVD quality
The first and last thirds of the movie are Ok -- not great quality -- but the middle third hangs up time after time. You must fast forward to get it past the "bad spot" and then resume watching. But you can't go back and watch or listen to the piece that you've missed or it hangs up (freezes)...

2nd best family movie musical in the world
After "Singin in the Rain", "The Music Man" is the best all family musical from 4 year olds to 44 yr olds to 104 yr olds. Trouble Right Here on this DVD
Watch out for this DVD! The authoring needs to be vastly improved, as does the overall quality of the transfer. I tried four borrowed/rented copies of this edition in attempting to find a copy that my Coby DVD player wouldn't choke on. Finally I ordered a NEW copy, which looked somewhat suspect...
