No Reservations stars Catherine Zeta-Jones. I was surprised that this was not a romantic comedy.

Poor DVD quality

The first and last thirds of the movie are Ok -- not great quality -- but the middle third hangs up time after time. You must fast forward to get it past the "bad spot" and then resume watching. But you can't go back and watch or listen to the piece that you've missed or it hangs up (freezes)...

Music Man

The Music Man, of course, is a fantastic movie and the movie itself is excellent. However, I was not happy about the delivery time. I had ordered it on a Wed., and paid the extra for faster delivery. I was told the 'estimated' delivery would be Friday, but didn't get arrive at the house until...

2nd best family movie musical in the world

After "Singin in the Rain", "The Music Man" is the best all family musical from 4 year olds to 44 yr olds to 104 yr olds. "But He Doesn't Know The Territory ~ Bucking Public Opinion

Well, sorry to throw a monkey wrench into the praise party for the '62 film `The Music Man' but I have to be honest and say this is definitely not one of my favorite musicals. Yes there are moments of brilliance here; Robert Preston is magnificent as Professor Harold Hill and Shirley Jones is...

Trouble Right Here on this DVD

Watch out for this DVD! The authoring needs to be vastly improved, as does the overall quality of the transfer. I tried four borrowed/rented copies of this edition in attempting to find a copy that my Coby DVD player wouldn't choke on. Finally I ordered a NEW copy, which looked somewhat suspect...

Trouble in River City
