Glad I NEVER read a review before I spent my money!
My wife, who designs web sites, and I have 5 computers in the house. The two laptops move from room to room several times each day. I like walking in computer stores and just looking. In a basket of returned or 'on sale' items I found the extender. N

I bought this to expand the range of my wireless laptop. I live kindof in the country and on a private road. I got minimum signal and it would even go off for several days. It was a nightmare, my dad got me this product as a present for easter and

Inital setup a little tricky but works GREAT!
I tried to set this up with the CD and had a little bit of trouble. But then I just started using the auto configuration button and it's been working just GREAT. I get a great signal all throughout. I say it's a great product and worth the money. :-)

Helpful but NOT intuitive

Good Product
I have a netgear 54g. I had to setup the repeater man.connecting it to my laptop to configure it. With my fathers dlink it was automatic like the docs say. Over all if you have basic networking knowledge, you will be ok and happy with it.

Good Product
Setting up this product does require some patience but that is due to the fact that the instructions only talk about using the automatic button and completely ignores secure networks. It also is a pain if there are many different networks in your ar

Don't waste your money
Perhaps if your wireless network isn't secured, it might be okay. But mine is secured. Not only didn't it work, but I wasted several hours (literally) with their chat support. I was cut-off 4 or 5 times! Each time I was forced to wait in the queue fo
