Lowers the Subwoofer Gain

This was a little odd. I had both sets of knobs turned to the same positions (all the way clockwise). With the controller plugged in, it works fine, but when I unplug the controller, the subwoofer gets louder. I don't think this thing should make a difference. With my new stereo I can control...
