Thought provoking
I was introduced to this book in a Sunday School class. Opened my eyes to an interesting concept about how The Evil One works his way into the human mind. It is a tough read. I have set it down a couple times.

C S Lewis, one of his most gripping works
This was tough to read. Scary, thought provoking and yes fire and brimstone. Makes one rethink daily living and what we are really here for every day. I recommend it especially to new Christians, but put your armour on first, you'll need it. We are always under attack and this unusual way of...

One of C.S. Lewis' best!
C.S. Lewis might be best known for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe but for adults, this book far surpasses that. The dripping sarcasm truly makes you stop and think about what type of person you really are.

Does the devil exist?
Every few years one ought to re-read this book to see anew how all of us sometimes reason our way around what we know is wrong, convincing ourselves that it's ok -- just this time or that, after all, it's the lesser of 2 evils, so let's go with it. Makes an especially good fun reading gift for...

A theological satrical masterpiece, rich in consolation, and a number of belly laughs
I often say that almost all of my theology comes from reading "The Narnia Suite," which I read for the first time at the age of eight, and more than a dozen times thereafter. I was particularly taken with The Last Battle, in which some people are very surprised indeed to learn that those they...
