Strongly recommended!
I finished reading this book a few weeks ago after a friend had recommended. I started with only a few pages a day but later I would read it past midnight and still wouldn't put it down. This book certainly gave me some idea about Christianity in China and definitely made me think how I shall...

Wow! Great book!
This book was awesome! It accurately portrayed the persecution of Christians in communist China, sparing no details. Some of the scenes were down and outright chilling, particularly the hell scene with Mao Se Tong (sp). It is helping me to reevaluate my own life and make me want to be more like...

I want my own copy!
I am going to China, and someone recommended that I read this book before I go. So I checked it out from the library and devoured the book. The characters seemed so real. I found myself wanting to pray for the characters. Li Quan and his faith will live on in my mind. I am going to buy my own...

Phenominal
This book, like "Heavenly Man", reminds me again of just how fortunate we are to live in a country with religious freedoms. The more I learn about the persecuted church, the less I take my American liberties for granted. This book, and its message, can be life changing if you'll let it.

Excellent theology throughout!
As a pastor and chaplain of a professional sports team, I am cautious as to what I give out to those He has called me to shepherd. With this being said, I have given this book out to athletes and regular people with the end results being similar. Those who have read it have been convicted that...
