very nice- would make a good gift
This is a nice BIG hard bound cookbook. I like it when I feel like I'm getting my moneys worth instead of some tiny book that costs way too much. If ya know what I mean. Fun reading, and nice recipes. I wouldn't call it a family cookbook. Probably most of the recipes are for get togethers....

Good not Great
Thought w/ all that wisdom, recipes would balance out. NOT. Cookin' is 1 thing, bakin' all chemistry. Very little rhyme &/or reason.

any color hat will do.....
the Red Hat Society Cookbook is chock full of great [& easy] recipies for individuals, couples, families or any size group of any age. Red Hat not necessary to enjoy the comments from the contributors - or the wonderful food! It also makes a great gift.

Funny Full of Surprises
I wasn't sure what to expect from the Red Hat Ladies but I got my money's worth in this cookbook! I love the way the desserts are first and there are many recipes in this book that I've never seen before and I'm an avid cookbook collector.
