Better Mexican cookbooks are available
Some of the recipes in this cookbook are good, but there are much better Mexican cookbooks available. It is what one should expect from a Mexican cookbook written in Wisconsin. With the title 'The Everything Mexican Cookbook' a recipe for menudo should be included.

Somewhat misleading
This is an ok cookbook, in that many of the recipes seem to work out fine and be tasty. My problem with it is that it looks like a beginner's cookbook, yet is misleading in areas. For example, right at the start it explains how to make the most basic staple - tortillas. By using cornmeal....
