This album is a symbol for Generation Y
The first time I saw Linkin Park I was just chilling out at home watching MTV. All of sudden a unique-looking video that appeared to be filmed in cave came on. Three minutes later I was thinking, "Wow, that was awesome." The video was for "One Step Closer." I bought the cd a short time later...

My favorite yet!
Out of all of the Linkin Park CD's, I have to say that this one is my favorite. The majority of the songs on the CD are my top Linkin Park picks, with Papercut being my number 1 favorite! If you're a Linkin Park fan, this CD is a must buy!

One of my favourite albums- it should be one of yours!
Nu-metal rules! Who needs those gay political bands like "Rage Against The Machine" when you've got incredible lyrics here? Bob Dylan? That guy is a joke, too. Linkin Park remains one of the finest bands I've ever listened to. The rapping is on-par with Lil' Wayne and the instrumentals are almost...

Got my Skin Crawling...
Linkin Park is one of very few alternative rock groups i listen to, I'm mostly a Hip Hop and R&B person, but Linkin Park does a lil rapping which is why I listened to them in the first place, but ever since I have always loved Linkin Park...they're kind of EMO (which i hate) but they are...

Refreshing Blend of Rap and Metal
I am not among the many people that pretend to be cool and hate the popular bands. I just listen to whatever sounds good in my opinion. Linkin Park is a band that I love and can't get enough of. Hybrid Theory offers a great mix of rap and metal that gives a great harmonic sound.Unlike other bands...

Undeniably catchy
So nearly eight years after its release, Hybrid Theory is still going strong. It is true that some of the lyrics may seem immature or generic, a good example being 'One Step Closer.' This album was directed towards teenagers so we'll ignore that flaw. But, the really special thing about this...

a great CD with the dumbest first single!
"One Step Closer" was a bad choice for a 1st single, artistically speaking; it sounded (and still sounds, IMO) generic as heck, to put it simply. I didn't feel a great desire to own this CD until I heard "Crawling" for the first time on the radio. After school I went to my local CD store and...

The Codification of the Rap-Rock Genre
While the debut from Linkin Park did not offer anything significantly new, what it did provide was some brilliant, incendiary singles. From the lineage that came from Run-DMC and Aerosmith to Agit-rockers Rage Against The Machine, it was merely a matter of time before it was simplified down to...

The start of something big...
Who ever thought that when Linkin Park pounced onto the scene they would become the huge success they are today? I surely never imagined they would become a household name. I remember when I first heard of them. A friend and I were at a local venue that housed small bands trying to make a name...
