Enjoy it until it crashes, in general I am happy with my classical "portable PC"

PROS: I have a 2.4 Ghz / year 2003. It works very good, it is very stable.
CONS: It has problems with the cooling system, it is too noisy and always the temperature of the computer is hot. It is too heavy.

Don't even think about buying the HP Compaq 2100 Presario , it cost more to repair than the price its worth.

CONS: Keyboard battery is gone, keyboard doesn't work too well and problems have been occurring since we have got it.

Bottom line: This laptop is stable. If you are looking for something cheap, and basic in terms of pc portability then buy the presario 2100. Otherwise, it is extremely slow and poorly built. I regret purchasing my presario. You get what you pay for!

PROS: The Presario 2100 is very easy to use. Ethernet port, 56k dial up port and a general stability in operating.
CONS: Very heavy. Very, VERY SLOW! (AMD athlon xp- very bad). Poor customer service, flimsy speaker design, loud fan (which can get extremely hot). Slow 1.1 USB ports, flimsy CD-RW drive design, flimsy keyboard (not sensitive enough).
