DDR2 SDRAM
PROS: Allows multiple applications to run simutaneously at a reasonable price.
CONS: At this time, only comes in 256 or 512 configurations which makes upgrading Dell E520 to anything higher than 2GB virtually impossible since the pc only has 4 memory slots.

1 Gig Ram Upgrade
PROS: It arrived in 3 business days from Califonia. It was easy to follow instructions and install. My computer now functions much smoother with less hang ups.

512 MB RAM Module
PROS: Ease of use and installation.
CONS: My computer must have all the same size modules, whereas older system I could put combinations as long as the Nanoseconds and pins were the same.
