Nice Upgrade
BTW, these Dell computers are very well made on the inside. Everything is very easy to get to.
PROS: Only took me 10 minutes to install. Very nice upgrade, very noticeable improvement in speed. Computer has a new life!
Very fast shipping: Ordered Friday afternoon. Delivered Monday morning.

Stubby fingers
PROS: Product really made a big improvement in my Dimension 2440 PC performance:512Mb added to orig 256=768 MB......Great
After moving Ribbon out of way and 2 tries easily installed into 2nd Connector slot
However see Cons(minor inconveniences)
CONS: 1)512mb module is 2 sided(Side with paper lable -front)
Did not know which way to install, however looking at existing 256 mb module in connector slot B, installed the same way. If installing backwards (not upside down)....would it install and would it wo

Great additional purchase
I wore a static grounding wrist strap during installation to avoid static discharge to the modules. These straps do not cost much and are an invaluable precaution whenever working on a computer. I have no reliability record of these RAM modules as I
PROS: Today I added 2 512MB RAM modules, (1 GB), to my Dimension 4600 computer and it now runs much faster. It was easy to install. Dell got these to me immediately, it was a very good on-line shopping experience.
CONS: I wish I had done this two years ago!

Quick order response, sure this is right memory, and high performance make buying the memory through Dell a good choice.
PROS: Works just fine, notice speed-up and less memory swapping. Installation was simple.
CONS: Would like the cost to be 50 % lower.

A little faster please
PROS: Turn your Dell Dimension 2400 into a speedster by adding 512 MB of memory to the original 256 MB. My machine now zips through start up, opens and runs applications in the blink of an eye. Like buying a new computer at 10 percent the price! Easy to install

Easy to install upgrade
PROS: This RAM module was quickly and seamlessly installed and was recognized by the system immediately. There is a noticible performance boost.
CONS: The installation instructions included were not very informative. Customers might want to read the Dell customer forums if they are having trouble installing the RAM.

Great Upgrade!
It might be a little tricky for those who are not savvy with computers to find the slot to put it in. Also, you should check to be sure that you have an available memory slot before purchasing.
PROS: I would reccommend this upgrade to anyone looking to speed up their computer inexpensively. Big difference! It came with instructions and was easy to install. Great value.
