This is the ratio between the whitest white and the blackest black. Two types of measurements of contrast ratio are: 1) ANSI (American National Standards Institute) contrast- measured by projecting 16 alternation white and black rectangles; 2) Full On/Off contrast: measurement of light out when a projector shows an all white image compared to the amount of light output of a comppletely black image.
