Bought this model 7/08, been a great value with fabulous HD picture. Need outsourced sound system for surround sound. Makes sounds when turned off, like snap, crackle, and pop for hours. Has worked excellent so far.

PROS: LCOS, great technology, and almost a great product! Beautiful picture, brightest available, HD is AWESOME.
CONS: I've been through 3 in 2 weeks: the product suffers from "chromatic aberration" which can't be adjusted. High contrast images outlined by one-pixel-wide green/magenta halos!!! JVC supposedly fixed in August, but my 3 12/04 builds all had it! Stay Away,

PROS: Purchased at Circuit City Sept of 2006. - Love the color and picture.
CONS: Aug 2008, Oct 2008 and March 2009 had to be repaired. Just turns off without warning. Then red light blinks. Same repair all three time. Unknown reason.
