At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

the finest printer I've owned
It's small, it's sleek and fairly quiet. Of all the printers I have had in the past, this is certainly the best. It hasn't let me down yet, and based on the other Samsung products I own, I don't foresee it doing so anytime soon. The only gripes...

"Gotta get me one"
Price is good. How about consumables? Too new to find out the cost at my local Staples or online at OfficeMax / Office Depot. Supposedly a problem with a Mac, but apparently there is already a work-around for it. I don't print a lot, but when I do,
PROS: Small footprint, sleek
CONS: Dunno if it can handle envelope printing yet

Quiet fast monochrome laser printer - Samsung ML-1630
I bought this printer as a supplement to my HP OfficeJet 5610 All-in-One. The Samsung ML-1630 laser is a very quiet monochrome laser printer. Print quality is excellent for text. Also the price per page for text is very reasonable. Printer is very...

Unique look which does not compromise quality
This is my second Samsung (my previous model was a 1200 series which lasted 8 years and was eventually donated to our local school)

Network users beware
I've tried getting this thing to work on my Airport extreme wireless basestation to no avail. Even connecting it to my Mac Mini and sharing it across the network doesn't work. I've updated drivers, repaired disk permissions, and spent hours...

Form and Function...Finally!
Much more stunning in person, on your desk, than in the pictures. The finish is beautiful and really adds to your desk as opposed to detracting from it like most white box printers do. One of the things that you don't get to experience until you...

Stealth Bomber of B&W laser printers
If you're tired of beige or gray cheap-looking plastic printers, you'll love this shiny new offering from Samsung.

Call it stylish, call it snazzy, call it a decorator-designed printer. I'm talking about the Samsung ML-1630 ($200 street), a personal laser printer with a high-gloss, piano-black finish, pretty blue lights that flash as it prints, and a focus on vis
PROS: Sleek styling. Easy setup. Small and lightweight.
CONS: Relatively slow. Low paper capacity. Text is slightly below par, though easily good enough for most business needs.

Samsung set out to design the un-printer and came up with the ML-1630, a personal monochrome laser that looks more like a Frank Lloyd Wright House-and has a similarly idiosyncratic personality. It's not very practical, but it is, at least, inexpensiv

If you can live with an input paper tray that only holds 100 sheets, you'll love this shiny new baby. Touch controls appear & disappear. Nice blue & red LEDs appear plus low volume R2D2 sound effects. Toner cartridges hard to find and Samsung doesn
